James Craig Crookshank
Was born on July 31, 1955 to James E. Crookshank and Joan Bergslien Crookshank in Seattle Washington. He passed away peacefully with family at his side on January 17, 2018. Jim was married to Molly L. Jordan on July 26th 1981. He served ten years in the military, first in the Army National Guard and then in the US Army. He enjoyed many outdoor activities when he was able to. He enjoyed everything automotive, motorsports, Nascar, SEAHAWKS, various other sports, model building, camping, hunting, hiking and was an avid fisherman. Family barbeques and get togethers. He enjoyed spending time with family and extended family most of all. He loved being a Grandpa to his many grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by mother Joan Smith, grandparents Nana and Papa Bergslien, Gladys and Karl Thaut, Son James, Niece Rachel Hodges, numerous aunts and uncles, and his uncle Ron Crookshank with whom he held a special place in his heart.
Jim is survived by wife Molly, parents James E. Crookshank and Sandra Crookshank, sisters Ashley Krueger, JoAnne Siverling (Keith) Sylvia Tremlett (Gary) Victoria Crookshank, brother Steve Crookshank (Doris)sons Richard Metcalf of IN, Michael Crookshank of Everett WA, Jason Crookshank (Alissa Jones) of Lynden WA, daughter Becky Metcalf (Paula) of IN, grandchildren Shawn, Kiera, Theresa, Debra, Jennifer, Kevin, Eli, Mia, Savannah, Orion, Emily, and great grandson Austin.
Jim is also survived by Aunt Louise (Larry) Holding, Uncle Bob (Pat) Crookshank, Aunt Alice Mays, Aunt Tinker Crookshank. Special nieces Crystal Crookshank and Tricia Douglas, special nephew James Tremlett and numerous other nieces, nephews and cousins and extended family friends.
