Obituary for Dayle Naomi Hildebrand

Dayle N. Hildebrand 90, a former resident of the Skagit Valley, passed away on Friday, June 29, 2018 in Brandon, Mississippi. She was born in Lake McMurray, WA in 1927, to George and Kitty (Hazen) Abrahamson. At a young age, Dayle married William Henning Hildebrand and together they raised two children, Kitty and Bill. She stayed at home while her children were young helping with the family farm and having water fights with the family. Dayle and her family also spent many weekends at their cabin on Lake 16. Once the children were grown, she began work at Skagit County Health Department as a nurse assistant. Later, Dayle and her husband relocated to Ellensburg to be closer to family. After the passing of her husband and daughter, Dayle relocated once again to Texas to be closer to her son. During her free time, Dayle enjoyed gardening, embroidery, cooking family meals and attending church.

Dayle is preceded in death by her parents, husband, siblings Jim Abrahamson, Jack Abrahamson and Agnes Hamill and daughter, Kitty Thomas. Dayle is survived by her son, William D. Hildebrand; two grandsons, Robert Thomas and Jacob Hildebrand and great granddaughter, Hayden Thomas.
